It is an unusual space full of character, which makes it an ideal backdrop for photo shoots looking for something out of the ordinary. It has large windows for natural light, as well as ample power for additional lighting. We have a photographic and lighting hire company based downstairs, so if you forget a vital but of kit, there'll be someone nearby to help!

The Crypt is comprised of two separated rooms, One is a large carpeted room which would be great for break out sessions. The main space is equipped with a small kitchen with everything you need to make refreshments. These rooms would be great for a group of up to 30 people where you could have a meeting in the main space with then areas of smaller break out groups. The area can be equipped with a TV for display and a PA system if needed for a small fee.

About St John's Hoxton

A stunning Grade II* listed church dating from 1826. Built by Francis Edwards, the foremost pupil of Sir John Soane, it is described by English Heritage as 'architecturally and aesthetically the most significant building in Hoxton'.

The church is set in its own gardens, with trees, benches and views of the Shard. It is a haven of peace and tranquillity, while only a 3 minute walk from the vibrant hustle and bustle of Shoreditch.

Inside is a large central space with a stunning late pre-Raphaelite painted ceiling, with full AV system, high-speed wifi, and great coffee!
