The 17th century barn is set amidst Blakesley Halls delightful gardens and next to our traditional herb garden. With large barn doors that open up to provide natural light and splendid views of the Hall and gardens, the barn also boasts original oak beams and flagstone floors. The room benefits from having its own wash stations that can be hidden from view offering a beautiful and practical space for any arts activities.

Located some six miles east of the city centre, Blakesley Hall (Grade II* listed) is a delightfully restored timber-framed Elizabethan house set amidst idyllic grounds and with fine period interiors. Built in 1590 for Richard Smallbroke, Blakesley Hall provides a marvellous insight into the social aspirations of the Tudor middle-classes. The delightful grounds are a sight to behold throughout the seasons. With formal lawns, a traditional herb garden, an orchard and herbaceous borders, the site offers excellent opportunity for photographs. Modern gallery, barn & Great Hall available for hire.
