Built in the 1920's, The Pavilion looks over what has been described by many as Wales' most beautiful cricket pitch. Now an event space with amazing views of Hawarden Old Castle, it offer 2 rooms perfect for a celebration. The main room can seat up to 20 on one long table or up to 35 on separate tables. The smaller front room which looks on onto the cricket pitch is perfect for arrival drinks. This space has a separate bar in the old score hut, just outside the main building but we can also offer table service if you did not want you guests to go outside.

The famous, storied and beautiful Hawarden Estate is uniquely modern in outlook. it is home to a multi-award-winning farm shop, restaurant and pub as well as some of the best self catering accommodation in the UK. There is a bakery, a medieval castle, a school of craft, wellness and food, a nature trail and lots more. We have many different spaces available for endless different activities from bucolic Walled Garden to the historic cricket pitch. The Estate is just 15 minutes from Chester, 40 minutes from Liverpool and Manchester, and 2.5 hours on the train from London.
