The Tudor Hart room accommodates up to 14 boardroom style for £660+VAT. The Anderson room holds maximum 22 boardroom for ground floor access. The Bevan Suite accommodates 150 theatre/77 cabaret on the 3rd floor, while the Harvey room holds 100 standing on the 3rd floor. Wedding venue hire starts at £6,600 for spaces like Prince's Room, Snow Room, Garden and Garden Room with Courtyard access.

What are the mandatory minimum catering spends and package options?

Most spaces require minimum catering spends: £250+VAT minimum for lunch in Tudor Hart room, £3,500+VAT minimum spend mentioned for larger events, and £90pp+VAT minimum for fine dining packages with 40-person minimums. Wedding packages start at £170pp (Lavender Package) with 40-person minimums. Day Delegate Rates are £95+VAT per person with 70-person minimums.

Can we bring external caterers or use our own suppliers?

External catering is not permitted due to exclusive contracts with in-house caterers. The venue operates with preferred suppliers and does not allow outside catering companies. All food and beverage must be provided through BMA House's catering team and their approved menu options.

What are the available time slots and any timing restrictions?

The Garden and Garden room can only be booked from 6:30pm-11pm for certain events. The Garden closes at 22:00 but events can continue in the Garden room until 23:00. Wedding venue hire typically runs 14:00-23:30 with earlier access for suppliers. Day events generally run 9am-5pm with 8am access for setup.

What AV equipment and technical support is included in room hire?

Room hire includes data projector, screen, flipchart, PA system and technical support for setup. The Great Hall offers extensive AV including high-powered projector, multiple microphones (up to 9 top table, 6 lapel, 6 handheld), lectern, staging and lighting, plus full day technical support. Events requiring heavy AV or more than 4 lapel mics need a second technician at £450+VAT per day.

How long do enquiries remain active in your system?

Enquiries expire in the venue's system after specific timeframes - typically clients must confirm booking interest by dates like "25th June" or "25th July" as mentioned in correspondence. The venue experiences high enquiry volumes and expects responses within 1-2 days, with follow-up reminders sent before enquiries are released from their system.

What are the accessibility requirements and limitations?

The 3rd floor is wheelchair accessible but requires use of a wheelchair lift once on the floor to access rooms like Bevan Suite and Harvey room. The wheelchair lift has weight limits that are sometimes unsuitable for electric wheelchairs, so details of wheelchair users must be provided in advance for assessment.

What dining packages are available and what do they include?

Fine dining packages start at £90pp+VAT including 2 glasses of Prosecco, black pepper crisps, 3-course set menu, filtered water and ½ bottle house wine per person. Wedding Lavender Package is £170pp including welcome prosecco, four canapes, three-course wedding breakfast, wine/water, toast prosecco, and evening food truck. Christmas packages are £95pp+VAT with pre-dinner drinks, three courses, wine and festive elements.

Are there capacity restrictions for the Garden and outdoor spaces?

The Garden and Garden room combination accommodates maximum 90 guests for summer parties, with the venue unable to accommodate larger numbers like 120 in these spaces. For 50 guests, the Garden can host arrival drinks with seated dinner in the Garden room, or the Garden room can be used for both if weather doesn't permit outdoor use.

What are the payment terms and booking hold procedures?

The venue requires responses within 1-2 days due to high enquiry volumes. Specific booking deadlines are given (such as "by the 25th June") after which enquiries expire from their system. Site visits can be arranged, and the venue offers both first and second option availability depending on dates, with first option taking priority for confirmed bookings.
