Are there restrictions on catering and do I need to use approved suppliers?
All clients must use one of Mall Galleries' approved caterers from their trusted supplier list. Catering is not included in hire fees and must be arranged directly with the caterers. There is a £500+VAT buy-out fee if you wish to use a caterer not on their approved list.
What's included in the hire fee and what are the mandatory additional costs?
The hire fee includes a venue supervisor and gallery staff, one security guard during the event, two parking spaces outside 17 Carlton House Terrace, parking permits for deliveries along the Mall, and use of furniture and technical equipment. All prices are subject to VAT, and catering must be arranged separately at additional cost.
What technical equipment and facilities are provided?
The venue includes a small stage, lectern, two roving microphones, adjustable lighting, AV and audio facilities, free WiFi, and cloak rails. The East Gallery features exposed steel structures, concrete flooring, high-arched windows overlooking The Mall, and energy-efficient gallery lighting with moveable sculpture walls.
Are there any restrictions on event types or special requirements?
The venue is suitable for drinks receptions, product launches, press events, corporate hire, fashion shows, award ceremonies, and private dining. Events requiring extensive setup may need multiple days, and all events must work around the gallery's exhibition schedule and opening hours to the public.
