What is the room hire cost for the Stanley Stephenson Lounge for weddings and private events?

The Stanley Stephenson Lounge room hire is £1,200 + VAT for the day. This includes exclusive use of the venue for 6 hours (all events must end at 12am), bespoke room setup, full operational support from the Event Team, one Event Manager on the day, security staff, hospitality and bar staff, cleaning, complimentary WiFi and onsite parking.

What is the maximum capacity for the Stanley Stephenson Lounge?

The Stanley Stephenson Lounge can accommodate up to 180 people for seated events and up to 200 people maximum. The space is located on the 2nd floor and does not have lift access or step-free entrances, making it unsuitable for guests with mobility issues or wheelchairs.

Can I bring my own catering or external food and drink to my wedding reception?

No, external catering is strictly prohibited. All food and beverage must be provided by Selhurst Park's in-house catering team, who offer a range of wedding menus with varying cuisine and price points. They can accommodate dietary requirements if given advance notice.

What are the restrictions on decorations and entertainment for wedding receptions?

Linen and table numbers are included in the room hire fee. Additional decorations must be provided by external decorators who need public liability insurance and PAT testing documentation. No decorations can be tacked onto walls. External DJs require public liability insurance and PAT testing documentation 7 days prior to the event, or you can book their in-house DJ through KT Entertainments.

What are the operating hours and time restrictions for wedding events?

All events must end at 12am (midnight). The venue hire includes 6 hours of exclusive use, with complimentary early access for room setup subject to availability. Events cannot be held on certain dates when Crystal Palace has home matches, and the venue is closed on December 23rd.

What catering policies apply to wedding receptions at the venue?

Buffets may only be open for 2 hours maximum. No leftover food can be taken home due to food safety policies. All catering is provided in-house by their full-time team of chefs who can cater to various cuisines and dietary requirements with advance notice.

What bar services and alcohol policies are in place for wedding receptions?

Each space has a private bar located within and is fully staffed by the events team. All alcohol must be purchased through the venue - no external alcohol is permitted. The venue offers various drinks packages that can be tailored to your wedding requirements.

What audio-visual equipment and facilities are included for wedding celebrations?

Each room has LCD mounted TV screens where you can display a slideshow of photos or graphic designs free of charge. Artwork must be sent 2 business days prior in PowerPoint or .mov file format. Additional AV equipment may be available - contact the venue for specific requirements for wedding presentations or entertainment.
