The Fishing Smack is a natural gallery for individual or group exhibitions. With its sprung dance floor It works well for theatre and dance rehearsals and small scale performances. We regularly host student and emerging artists and theatre companies in residence. We are always happy to discuss competitive rates for block bookings. The studios work well for regular arts, drama, dance, martial arts and well-being classes and we encourage use of the space for children and adult arts workshops.

The Boathouse Studios is a riverside multi-purpose venue in Barking, East London. Easily accessible by public transport, 20-25 mins from Central London and 8 min walk from Barking station. Two large and two small blank canvas studios, perfect for meetings, away-days, training, workshops, rehearsals, conferences and private events. Our staff team will work with you to co-ordinate your day.Reliable free wifi, TV monitor, projector, accessible lift and facilities. Lunch and all day refreshments menu available. Paid parking, 5 min walk. Onsite parking weekday from 6pm & weekends
