Evening room hire for the Exhibition room and Atrium is £2,140 + VAT with a minimum catering spend of £1,600 + VAT. Full day room hire for the Exhibition room is £1,800 + VAT with a minimum catering spend of £1,200 + VAT. If you extend past 5pm, there's an additional £250 + VAT per hour charge.
What are the venue's operating hours and time slot options?
The venue operates three time slots: Full day (08:30-17:00), Half day (08:30-12:30 or 13:00-17:00), and Evening (18:00-22:45). Access for organisers can begin at 08:30, with guest access typically starting at 09:30 or later depending on your event schedule.
What is the maximum capacity for wedding ceremonies and receptions?
The Atrium can accommodate up to 155 guests for wedding ceremonies. The Exhibition room can hold up to 100 guests in theatre style, 60 guests in cabaret style, or 40 guests in boardroom style. The spaces work best when hired together for larger wedding celebrations.
Can we bring our own catering or external vendors for our wedding?
No, external catering is not permitted due to an exclusivity contract with the venue's caterers. Food and drinks cannot be brought in from outside vendors. However, you can bring your own alcohol and pay a corkage fee of £50 + VAT per bottle.
What catering options are available and how much do they cost?
The venue offers various catering packages including gourmet sandwich lunches, Future 50 Salad options, tea and coffee service, and drinks packages. A one-hour unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks package with a glass of fizz on arrival costs £26 per person. Seasonal Future 50 Salad add-ons cost £5 + VAT per person.
What AV equipment is included and what are the setup options?
Full use of AV equipment is included in room hire, featuring state-of-the-art, user-friendly equipment with strong Wi-Fi throughout the building. The Exhibition room has a built-in PA system, and equipment includes screens, projectors, clickers, HDMI cables, and flipcharts as needed.
Is there outdoor space available for wedding photos or ceremonies?
No, the venue does not have any private outdoor space available for guests. All wedding activities must take place within the indoor spaces of the building.
What is the booking process and payment timeline?
You must complete a booking form and return a signed confirmation letter to secure your date. A deposit invoice is issued and must be paid before your event takes place. Final invoices are payable within 30 days, unless the event takes place within 30 days of the invoice date.
How far in advance do we need to provide final event details?
Final event details including catering requirements, dietary restrictions, and guest numbers must be confirmed by 4pm the day before your event at the latest. The venue can accommodate late dietary requirement changes but advance notice is preferred.
What dietary requirements can the catering team accommodate?
The catering team can accommodate various dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, halal, gluten-free, lactose-free, nut allergies, and ketogenic diets. They cannot provide meat skewers for ketogenic guests but will offer suitable alternatives. Late dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
