Bench is a venue with rustic charm, its own outside terrace and outstanding freshly made cuisine. Whether you're planning a Christmas, Birthday or drinks party or an intimate reception, this great venue offers up to 65 guests with the ideal setting for evening entertaining and good conversation. It can also be hired in conjunction with the glass-covered Atrium of the Goldsmiths' Centre offering ample room for up to 155 guests as well as the chance to explore the latest jewellery display.



Frequently asked questions

Evening room hire for the Exhibition room and Atrium is £2,140 + VAT with a minimum catering spend of £1,600 + VAT. Full day room hire for the Exhibition room is £1,800 + VAT with a minimum catering spend of £1,200 + VAT. Additional hours beyond standard times cost £250 + VAT per hour.

Standard hire slots are Full day (08:30-17:00), Half day (08:30-12:30 or 13:00-17:00), and Evening (18:00-22:45). You can extend beyond these times for an additional £250 + VAT per hour.

The Exhibition room can accommodate up to 100 guests in theatre style or 60 guests in cabaret style. For evening events, you can hire both the Exhibition room and Atrium together, allowing guests to move freely between spaces for drinks, canapés and mingling.

No, external catering is not permitted due to an exclusivity contract with the venue's caterers. Food and drinks cannot be brought in from outside suppliers.

Drink packages include unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks and a glass of fizz on arrival at £26 per person for one hour. You can add spirits by bringing your own bottles with a corkage fee of £50 + VAT per bottle, or the venue can potentially provide spirits through their catering service.

Full use of AV equipment is included in room hire, featuring state-of-the-art user-friendly equipment with strong Wi-Fi throughout the building. The Exhibition room has a built-in PA system and can accommodate screens, projectors, microphones and HDMI cables.
