The ornate Council Room overlooks the garden square around Carlton House Terrace down to Pall Mall. The large windows also overlook the Duke of York statue and is situated at the top of the Number 10 staircase. The most popular aspects of this room are of course the history, the large royal guilt-framed period portraits and the ornate ceiling details above the portraits. The room is a traditional classic and a popular room for many types of events from boardroom events to filming, wedding and private dinners.
