The Private Dining Room has a room hire of £1,000 and requires a minimum food & beverage spend of £4,000 including VAT, exclusive of 10% service charge on food & beverage. The minimum spend gives you flexibility to build your own tailor-made package but the actual spend could be higher depending on your requirements.

What is the maximum capacity for the Private Dining Room and what seating arrangements are available?

The Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 40 guests for dining events. The space is designed for seated dining arrangements and is ideal for intimate corporate dinners, client entertainment, and private celebrations.

What are the standard event timings and access arrangements for dining events?

Standard dining events typically run from 18:30 to 00:00, though timings can be flexible based on your requirements. Access arrangements and setup times can be discussed when making your booking to ensure your event runs smoothly.

Are there any mandatory additional charges beyond the room hire and minimum spend?

Yes, there is a mandatory 10% service charge on all food & beverage consumption, which is exclusive of the minimum spend requirement. All room hire and minimum spend figures quoted include VAT.

What catering options are available and can special dietary requirements be accommodated?

The venue offers flexible catering options including three-course dinners, sharing-style menus, and Christmas packages. Special dietary requirements including halal catering can be accommodated with advance notice, and alcohol-free events are also possible.

Bookings start as a 'joint option' which means the space is offered on a first-come-first-serve basis to multiple clients on the same dates. The space is not on hold until you confirm your booking, so early confirmation is recommended to secure your preferred date.

The Private Dining Room can accommodate presentations and speeches with microphone facilities available. For larger events requiring screens or projectors, these can be arranged as part of your event package.

Can the Private Dining Room be combined with other spaces for larger events?

Yes, the Private Dining Room can be used in conjunction with other hotel spaces such as The May Fair Bar for pre-dinner drinks or the Crystal Room for receptions. This allows for flexible event flow and can accommodate different parts of your event program.

What is included in Christmas party packages and when are they available?

Christmas packages are available during the festive season and include glass of prosecco on arrival, three-course Christmas dinner, half bottle of house wine per person, water, coffee and mince pies, black linen and centrepiece decorations, and May Fair Christmas crackers. Minimum numbers typically apply.
