The Common Room (main Business space) costs £3,600 + VAT for 9:00am-5:00pm with £3,000 minimum spend on food and drinks, £2,300 + VAT for 1:00pm-5:00pm with £1,500 minimum spend, or £2,750 + VAT for 6:00pm-11:00pm with £5,000 minimum spend. Smaller spaces like David Lloyd George cost £1,600 + VAT with £1,350 minimum spend, and Holborn & Lincoln cost £950 + VAT per day with £200 minimum spend.

What are the capacity limits for different seating arrangements in the Business spaces?

The Common Room accommodates up to 244 theatre style with stage, 180 seated on round tables with stage, 150 theatre style with catering in room, or 96 cabaret style with catering served in room. The Strand, Fleet & Bell suites accommodate up to 60 banqueting, while Holborn & Lincoln accommodates up to 20 boardroom style.

What AV equipment is included and what are the additional costs?

Basic AV package costs £300-400 + VAT and includes screen, projector, lectern with mic, handheld mic, and for larger spaces like Common Room also includes stage, two repeater screens, flipchart, and PA system. An AV technician is included to assist with setup for conference packages.

What catering options and pricing are available for corporate events?

DDR packages start from £60 + VAT per person (minimum 100 guests) including arrival refreshments, lunch, and AV equipment. Executive lunch options include 2 grab items, fruit, and traybake. Two-course dinners cost £57 + VAT per person, while formal 3-course dinners range from £124.50-140.50 + VAT per person depending on the package.

Are there early access arrangements for event setup?

Yes, organisers typically receive early access 1 hour before the official start time. For full-day events (9:00am-5:00pm), organiser access is available from 8:00am, and for evening events starting at 6:00pm, access is available from 5:00pm.

What are the booking hold periods and payment requirements?

The venue offers provisional holds for 7 days while clients make decisions. All prices are quoted plus VAT at 20%. Payment timelines and deposit requirements are discussed during the booking process, with dedicated team support provided throughout.

Can the Business spaces be configured for breakout sessions or divided meetings?

Yes, the Strand, Fleet & Bell suites are three interconnecting rooms that can be hired individually or as one large space, making them ideal for presentations, seminars, breakout spaces and meetings. Each room is fully soundproofed and equipped with built-in AV.

What additional services are included in corporate packages?

Corporate packages include complimentary Wi-Fi, filtered water throughout, dedicated team on the day, registration table, digital and directional signage, cloakroom facilities, and security where required. Personalised digital welcome signs are also provided for most packages.

Are there restrictions on filming or recording during corporate events?

The venue accommodates filming requirements but needs advance notice to understand specific needs including dates, number of people, crew catering requirements, and whether filming can be contained within hired rooms. During weekdays, the building is open to Law Society members and the public, so weekend filming may be preferred.

What are the venue's operating hours and access arrangements?

The venue operates with reception security team who welcome guests and notify event organisers of arrivals. Site visits can be arranged between 9:30am-4:30pm on weekdays. The building is a working Law Society facility, so coordination with daily operations is required for weekday events.
