What is the maximum capacity for the Theatre & Atrium dining space?

The Theatre & Atrium can accommodate up to 120 people for seated events. This space includes the main theatre area with an adjoining atrium that serves as the catering area for dining and refreshment breaks.

What catering options and pricing are available?

Catering includes tea/coffee at £2.99+VAT per person per break, light lunch from £24+VAT per person, mini muffins at £2.50+VAT per person, chocolate chip cookies at £2.00+VAT per person, gluten-free chocolate brownie bites at £2.50+VAT per person, and chef's selection of biscuits at £2.00+VAT per person. There is typically a minimum catering spend of £20+VAT per person with a 60-person minimum.

What AV equipment and technical support is included?

The Theatre & Atrium includes screen and projector, lectern with comfort monitor and lectern microphone, PA system and speakers, one roving microphone, electronic pointer/clicker, ability to colour wash the space, and an AV technician as standard. Additional charges apply for event filming or livestreaming services.

What are the standard hire times and can they be adjusted?

Standard hire times are evening (18:30-22:30), half-day (13:00-17:00), and full day (08:30-17:00). The venue can accommodate adjusted timings, such as 15:30-18:30, particularly for short-lead bookings, though this may affect minimum spend requirements.

What are the booking confirmation and payment requirements?

For short-lead bookings, confirmation is required by end of play the following day with full pre-payment required by close of play within a few days of confirmation. Standard booking terms may vary depending on lead time and specific arrangements.

Can the minimum catering spend be waived or reduced?

Yes, the venue can waive the £20+VAT per person minimum catering spend in certain circumstances, particularly for short-lead bookings or when only basic refreshments like tea and coffee are required. This is negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

What is included in the full day delegate rate package?

The Day Delegate Rate at £79+VAT per person (minimum 40 people) includes exclusive hire of the space from 08:30-17:00, breakfast on arrival, mid-morning refreshment break with tea/coffee, individually served lunch, afternoon refreshments with tea/coffee, full AV equipment, onsite technician, security, and event management.

Are there additional charges for filming or special requirements?

Yes, additional charges apply for event filming or event livestreaming beyond the standard AV technician service. The venue can accommodate these requirements but they must be arranged in advance with additional fees.

Can catering be customized and what are the alternatives to set packages?

Yes, instead of the Day Delegate Rate, clients can choose room hire plus minimum catering spend to select their own catering from available menus. For example, Studio & Balcony hire at £3,000+VAT plus £1,600+VAT minimum catering spend allows for bespoke menu selection from their catering options.
