The ground floor Court Room has a maximum capacity of 60 guests theatre style, 30 cabaret style, or 26 guests boardroom style.

What is the minimum spend requirement for weekend events?

Weekend events have a minimum spend of £18,000. This applies to all weekend bookings regardless of guest numbers or event type.

What are the standard hire times and can they be extended?

Standard evening hire runs from 6pm to 11pm (with bar closing at 11pm). Daytime events typically run from 8:30am to 12pm or 1pm to 5pm. Extensions are available at £2,000 + VAT for additional 5-hour periods (such as extending from 1pm-6pm). Some availability exists from 8:30am-12pm for morning events.

Does the venue allow external catering or do they have exclusive caterers?

Ironmongers' Hall does not allow external catering and has an exclusive relationship with their in-house catering partners, Company of Cooks. All food and beverage must be provided through their approved catering team.

What Christmas party packages are available and what do they include?

Christmas packages range from £140-£246 + VAT per person depending on the package selected. Basic packages include PA system, projector screen, back projection, lectern, and up to 3 handheld microphones. An AV technician costs £480-£485 + VAT for up to 8 hours. Additional equipment like staging (6m x 2m stage with 3m screen) starts from approximately £2,400 + VAT. Larger screens and more complex setups require additional charges and increased build time.

Corporate day packages start from £97-£120 + VAT per person including venue hire, catering, and basic AV. Fine dining packages are £110 + VAT per person with corkage included. Can events run simultaneously or are there restrictions on multiple bookings?

The venue cannot accommodate multiple events on the same day if one requires the full day (9am-9pm). If there's already a daytime event booked, evening events may only be available from 6pm-11pm. The venue operates on a first-come, first-served basis for date availability.

Additional wines beyond the corkage package incur extra charges.
