What is the capacity and setup of the Business space for corporate meetings?

The Business space is the Principa Suite designed for boardroom-style meetings accommodating up to 16 delegates. It features an interactive plasma screen, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, video and audio conference systems, and is fully air-conditioned as a private meeting room.

What are the day delegate rates and what's included?

The Day Delegate Rate is £66 per person and includes unlimited tea, coffee, mineral water and juice, biscuits and fruit, breakfast pastries, mid-morning and afternoon snacks, working lunch, free Wi-Fi, AV equipment, flipchart and stationery, and PA system with microphones. Full day hire runs from 9am-5pm.

Can we combine meeting room hire with team activities?

Yes, you can add activity packages to your meeting. The Level 3 Activity Package includes choice of E-Karting or Immersive Gamebox plus one other activity from AR Darts, Urban Street Golf, AR Bowling, Hologate VR, or Shuffleboard, along with 2 drinks tokens, street food sharing platter, unlimited arcade gaming credit, and an event host.

What are the room hire costs for meetings without delegate packages?

For room-only hire, the Principa Suite can be booked from £300 for a full day (10am-4:30pm) for smaller groups. For larger corporate events requiring the Newtons Bar space, hire starts at £2,400 for 9am-5pm, with a minimum bar spend of £5,000 that can be used toward drinks.

What catering options are available beyond the standard delegate package?

Beyond the standard sandwich lunch buffet included in the delegate rate, you can upgrade to Bronze, Silver, or Gold buffet packages. The kids party buffet is £11.35 per person including half pizza, fries, and warm sugar doughnut. Street food style sharing platters are also available for team events.

What AV equipment is provided for presentations and training?

The Business space includes an interactive plasma screen, PA system with microphones, video and audio conference systems, flipchart and stationery. For larger events in other spaces, LED screens, PA systems, microphones, and lecterns are available.

Are there restrictions on external catering or vendors?

External caterers are not permitted - all food must be provided by Gravity MAX's in-house catering team. However, the venue has experience accommodating dietary requirements including Muslim, vegetarian, and children's meals, with halal-certified meats available.

What are the booking and payment procedures?

Initial enquiries are handled by calling 0330 159 5815 for quotations. The corporate sales team will discuss requirements in detail and check availability before providing final pricing. For events booked before 15th February 2025, a 10% discount is available by quoting 'MAXJAN' when enquiring.

What team building activities can be incorporated into corporate events?

Available activities include Indoor Multi-Level E-Karting, 14 Augmented Reality Bowling Lanes, 6 Augmented Reality Darts Booths, 9 Hole Urban Street Golf Course, 3 Immersive Gamebox Booths, Sandbox VR, Hologate VR, shuffleboards, pool tables, and arcade games. Activities can be booked individually or as packages with dedicated event hosts.

What are the age and safety requirements for VR activities?

For Sandbox VR, guests must be 1.2m (48″) or taller, able to support gear weight of 2KG for up to 1 hour, walk unassisted for 30 minutes with full use of both hands, and the experience is not wheelchair accessible. For guests under 18, a parent/guardian must be physically present to sign a minor waiver form.
