What are the exact hire costs for Screen 1 at different times?

Screen 1 (119 seats) costs £1,284 + VAT per slot Monday-Tuesday, £1,835 + VAT per slot Wednesday-Sunday. Weekend evening slots are 6pm-9pm or 8:30pm-11:30pm - if you need both slots the price doubles. Full day hire (7am-5pm or 9am-5pm) costs £4,250 + VAT.

What technical equipment is included and what are the content delivery requirements?

The hire includes screen, projector, up to 3 handheld microphones, and technical support. Content must be delivered in DCP format 72 hours before your technical rehearsal. If you have another format, conversion costs £500 + VAT, with additional fees for late delivery or missed rehearsals.

What is included in the mandatory technical rehearsal?

A technical rehearsal of 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on event complexity) is included and takes place at 10:30am-11:30am prior to your event day. This rehearsal is mandatory and additional fees apply if missed.

How much does bar hire cost and what are the capacity limits?

Exclusive bar hire costs £300 + VAT per hour for up to 125 people standing. This covers the space only - food and drinks are additional with no minimum spend requirements and no service charges added.

What are the drink pricing and ordering requirements?

Self-service house wine, prosecco, beers and soft drinks work on a maximum tab limit at £6 per person per drink. Specialty drinks like cocktails, G&T and hard seltzer cans require agreed pre-orders. All drink orders must be placed 2 weeks ahead to ensure staffing and stock.

What food options are available and when must orders be placed?

In-house options include tea/coffee receptions, breakfast items, pizzas and light bites. External caterers are available for other requirements. All food orders must be placed 2 weeks ahead of your event to ensure staffing and stock - orders cannot be guaranteed after this deadline.

Can laptops be connected for presentations and are there format restrictions?

Yes, laptops can be connected to the screen for presentations. Both PC and Apple laptops work if they have HDMI adaptors. The venue recommends consolidating all content onto one laptop to avoid transitions between multiple devices.

What are the microphone limitations for Q&A sessions?

The venue has exactly 4 wireless microphones on site total. For single screen events, you can use up to 3 microphones. If using multiple screens simultaneously, microphones cannot easily be moved between screens, limiting you to 2 per screen maximum.

What branding opportunities are available?

A branding package is offered alongside events which includes use of the canopy or readograph, plus takeover of all quad posters and digital screens throughout the venue.

How far in advance do bookings close and what are the booking hold procedures?

Bookings close the day before your event date. The venue can place dates on hold while you confirm details, but until you have a countersigned contract, the booking is not confirmed and dates may be released to other clients.
