What are the hourly rates and minimum booking requirements for the Events Space?

The Events Space costs £450 + VAT per hour with a 3-hour minimum booking (£1,350 + VAT minimum). If you need both the Events Space and Business Lounge together, the rate is £1,000 + VAT per hour with a 3-hour minimum booking (£3,000 + VAT minimum). Security is mandatory after 18:00 at an additional £250 + VAT.

What are the capacity limits for different room setups?

The Events Space accommodates up to 100 guests in theatre or standing setup, 56 guests in cabaret style (7 tables of 8), and 32 guests in classroom style. If you book just the Events Space without the Business Lounge, any breaks or food must be consumed inside the Events Space itself.

What catering options are available and at what cost?

Breakfast options range from £4-£16 + VAT per person (tea/coffee/biscuits to full breakfast with sandwiches and juices). Lunch is £22 + VAT per person (sandwiches, crisps, popcorn, desserts, fruit, soft drinks). Canapés cost £13 + VAT per person for platters or £4.50 + VAT for nuts/olives/crisps. Soft drinks are £5 + VAT per person.

Can alcoholic beverages be served at events?

No, alcoholic drinks cannot be accommodated at the Farringdon venue. However, HubHub has another venue in Shoreditch where alcohol can be served if that location works for your event.

How long can I access the space before my event for setup?

You receive 1 hour of complimentary access before your event for setup. If you need additional setup time beyond this, you would need to book and pay for extra hours at the standard hourly rate.

What AV equipment and support is included?

The Events Space includes projector and screens, microphones, clicker, and HDMI connection for laptops. HubHub staff will be on-site during your event to assist with any needs. Two flipcharts can also be provided for your event.

How long are booking holds maintained and what is the booking process?

Booking holds are maintained for approximately 48 hours, after which they are released if no confirmation is received. You'll need to register visitors' first and last names with reception in advance of your event.

Are there any restrictions on external vendors or catering?

The venue provides its own catering services with set menu options and pricing. External catering arrangements are not explicitly mentioned in the standard offerings, so you would need to discuss any special dietary requirements or external vendor needs directly with the events team.

What meeting room options are available for smaller groups or breakout sessions?

HubHub offers meeting rooms that accommodate between 6-16 people, with rates ranging from £60-£120 + VAT per hour depending on room size. These can be used alongside the main Events Space for breakout sessions during larger events.

Is there a separate space available for networking breaks and refreshments?

If you book only the Events Space (£450/hour), all breaks and food must be taken inside the Events Space itself. To have a separate area for breaks and networking, you need to book both the Events Space and Business Lounge together (£1,000/hour total).
