The Railway has three private event spaces with different capacities and minimum spends. The Lounge Bar (first floor) accommodates up to 100 seated or 150 standing guests with a £2,500 minimum spend plus 12.5% service charge. The Cocktail Bar (second floor) holds up to 15 seated or 40 standing guests with a £1,000 minimum spend plus 12.5% service charge. The Snug (ground floor) fits up to 30 seated or 50 standing guests with a £500 minimum spend plus 12.5% service charge.
How much deposit is required to secure a booking and when is it due?
Deposit amounts vary by space: £250 for both the Lounge Bar and Cocktail Bar, and £100 for the Snug. The deposit is redeemed against your final bill or refunded back to your card if the event is cancelled with proper notice. You'll receive a secure payment link to complete the deposit payment online.

All three spaces include HD TVs and Bluetooth music connectivity for your own playlists. The Lounge Bar additionally features the ability to have your own DJ, disco ball and lights. All food and drink must be purchased at the venue - external catering is not permitted and you have no access to a kitchen. However, you can bring your own DJ for events in the Lounge Bar, and all spaces allow you to play your own music via Bluetooth connection to the venue's sound system.

For bar area bookings, a £5 per person authentication fee applies, which is only charged if you cancel without giving 48 hours' notice or in the event of a no-show. Tables for bar bookings are held for a maximum of 15 minutes past your reservation time.
