What are the venue hire costs and what's included in the base price?

Standard venue hire is £10,000 per day, but reduced rates are available (typically £5,000-£6,000) depending on your event size and requirements. This includes uniformed SIA security staff, cloakroom attendants, all AV equipment (9x 55-inch TVs, bespoke lighting, PA system, wireless microphones), furniture, glassware, and staff. Food and beverage packages are additional costs.

What are the dining capacity limits and seating arrangements?

The venue accommodates up to 360 guests for dinner/dance events and has fixed casual seating for 168 people in the alcoves. The space features one main area with 10 alcoves branching off, each measuring 7m x 3.5m, perfect for intimate dining sections or breakout areas during larger events.

What food packages are available and what do they cost?

In-house catering options include: 6 canapés per person (£35), 10 canapés per person (£45), 5 bowl/street food options (£55), 3-course lunch/dinner (£90), and DDR package with tea/coffee and lunch (£77). All food is prepared by a Michelin-trained chef and prices are per person excluding VAT.

What drinks packages do you offer and how much do they cost?

Drinks options include: 3 hours of beer/wine/soft drinks (£35 per head), open bar (£25 per person per hour), Prosecco reception for 45 minutes (£25 per head), and beer/wine/soft drinks (£10 per head per hour). All prices are excluding VAT and there's also a paid bar available for drinks outside the package.

What are the licensing hours and event timing restrictions?

The venue has a 00:00 licence (midnight on Friday/Saturday, 23:00 on Sundays). De-rig must be completed before 21:00pm on the event day or the following morning due to landlord restrictions. Setup access times vary but typically allow several hours before your event start time.

Can external caterers use the kitchen facilities?

Yes, there's a full-service in-house kitchen with a Michelin-trained chef available for external caterers to use for all cuisine types and budgets. The venue can accommodate various catering requirements and dietary restrictions, making it suitable for specialized dining events and tastings.

What AV and technical equipment is included for dining events?

All events include 9x 55-inch TVs (with 1 mobile on stand), bespoke venue lighting throughout, wireless handheld microphones, in-house PA system, 32amp 3-phase power, 72x 13amp & USB points, and strong private internet connection. A technical operator is available on-site for an additional charge if needed.

Are there minimum spend requirements or booking restrictions?

For some events, there may be minimum bar spend requirements (e.g., £4,000 minimum bar spend mentioned for certain bookings). The venue is considered too large for very small groups (under 35 people), with one quote noting it would result in a high cost per person for smaller events.

What accessibility features and additional services are available?

The venue offers full disabled access via a platform lift, accommodating guests in wheelchairs. Additional services include uniformed security staff, cloakroom attendants, and the venue can provide Christmas decorations and themed setups. Up to 3 bars are available for larger events.
