Icetank can accommodate up to 120 guests for standing receptions, 50 guests for seated meals or theatre-style layouts, and 30 guests for cabaret-style setups. The venue operates on an exclusive hire basis, meaning you have access to the entire space including both ground and lower ground floors.

What are the venue hire costs and how is pricing structured?

Venue hire prices vary based on access times required, including setup and breakdown periods. For example, a 16-day hire (9am-6pm daily) costs £56,320 excluding VAT. All quotes are bespoke depending on event type and duration, with a minimum 5-hour hire requirement that cannot be scheduled mid-day.

What are the curfew restrictions and operating hours?

There is a strict 11pm curfew for guest departure, with loud music required to stop at 10:45pm for private events. All staff and suppliers must vacate by midnight. The venue can provide access from as early as 6am to as late as midnight finish, seven days a week.

What AV equipment and technical facilities are included in the hire?

The venue includes HD projector, 82-inch 4K Smart TV, 55-inch external-facing TV for branding, PA sound system with built-in speakers, microphone, DJ equipment (excluding decks), customizable RGB lighting throughout both floors, and high-speed Wi-Fi (320 Mbps download). A venue technician is provided during events to ensure smooth operation.

What branding and customization options are available?

The venue offers complete customization with large floor-to-ceiling windows that can be vinyled for branding, and Icetank has a trusted supplier (KGK Genix) to assist with this. You can add signage, decorations, or wall branding throughout the space, or keep it minimal with the existing white contemporary interior.

What is the booking process and payment structure?

Icetank operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not hold dates. To secure a booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required, with the remaining balance due 5 weeks prior to the event date. All quotes are bespoke based on specific dates and requirements.

What furniture and setup options are included?

Included furniture comprises 6 bistro tables (adjustable height), 3 RGB light-up poseur tables, 18 bar stools, 10 trestle tables, 6 square poseur tables, 2 cube benches, 50 white fold-out chairs, and a lectern. Additional or bespoke furniture can be hired at extra cost through preferred suppliers.

Are there age restrictions for events at Icetank?

Yes, there is a strict policy of no under-21s for private events. For events where most guests are under 21, everyone must leave by 8pm. The venue provides on-the-door security to manage these restrictions and general event security.

What catering options and kitchen facilities are available?

Icetank has two kitchens: a demo kitchen on the ground floor (ideal as bar setting or product display) and a catering kitchen on the lower ground floor. You can bring your own caterers (with a non-preferred supplier fee) or use their preferred suppliers. The venue does not have an alcohol license, so all drinks must be pre-paid in advance.
