Icetank can accommodate up to 120 guests for standing receptions, 50 guests for seated meals, and 25 guests in boardroom layout. For cabaret-style seating, the maximum is 30 guests, and theatre-style seating can accommodate up to 50 guests.

What are the venue hire costs and how is pricing structured?

Venue hire prices vary depending on access times required, including setup and breakdown periods. All quotes are bespoke based on the specific event type and duration. Weekend bookings are 20% cheaper than weekday rates, and there is a 5-hour minimum hire requirement.

What are the strict time restrictions and curfews I need to know about?

There is a strict 11pm curfew for loud music to stop and all guests must depart by 11pm. All staff and suppliers must vacate by midnight. For events where most guests are under 21, everyone must leave by 8pm, and there is a strict no under-21s policy for private events.

What kitchen facilities are available for catering and food service?

The venue has two kitchens: a demo kitchen on the ground floor (perfect as a bar setting or for product displays) and a catering kitchen on the lower ground floor. You can bring your own caterers, though there is a non-preferred supplier fee, or use their preferred suppliers who know the kitchens well.

What AV equipment and technical support is included in the hire?

All hire includes HD projector, 82-inch 4K Smart TV, PA sound system with built-in speakers, microphone, DJ equipment (DJs only need to bring decks), customizable RGB lighting throughout the space, and a dedicated venue technician on-hand throughout your event. Wi-Fi is high-speed at 320 Mbps download/260 Mbps upload.

How does the booking process work and what are the payment terms?

Icetank operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not hold dates. To secure your booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required, with the remaining balance due 5 weeks prior to the event date.

Can I customize the venue branding and what support is available?

The venue is extremely flexible for branding - you can add signage, decorations, or wall branding to suit your brief. The large shopfront windows can be vinyled for custom branding, and they have a trusted supplier (KGK Genix) who can assist with this customization.

What security and staffing is provided with the venue hire?

On-the-door security is provided to manage curfews and guest departures. Security personnel are included for events after 6pm where required. A venue technician is also provided throughout your event to ensure all AV equipment runs smoothly.

What furniture is included and can I bring additional items?

Included furniture comprises bistro tables, RGB light-up poseur tables, bar stools, trestle tables, square poseur tables, cube benches, white fold-out chairs, and a lectern. You can bring additional furniture or installations, and they can help source bespoke furniture from preferred suppliers at additional cost.

Are there any restrictions on alcohol service and bar operations?

Icetank does not have an alcohol license, so they cannot operate a cash bar. All drinks must be pre-paid in advance. They can arrange drinks packages through their preferred suppliers, but everything must be organized and paid for before the event.
