As a flexible but highly professional space of 1700 sq ft, we can host any kind of meeting from 20 to 200. From a single HDMI of 40 up to a Hybrid meeting of 200+ spanning the globe. Vital teas and coffees are available, as is external catering. We'll set the room up how you want, and our dedicated technicians bring expertise to take your event to the next level. Frequently asked questions

The Conference & Events package costs £445 per hour and includes the Upper Room (200 theatre capacity), standard AV equipment with 1 technician, and 2 staff members to facilitate your event. A £150 post-event cleaning charge applies to all bookings.

All quotes must include setup and pack down time in addition to your event duration. The standard requirement is 60 minutes for setup and 30 minutes for pack down, though you can reduce setup to 30 minutes minimum and pack down to 15 minutes if you handle chair stacking, table folding, and rubbish clearing yourself.

King's House is only available for hire Thursday through Saturday. The venue is not available for bookings on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

The Upper Room accommodates up to 200 people in theatre style seating. The flexible 1700 sq ft space can be configured for meetings from 20 to 200 people, with chairs and tables provided free of charge.

Standard AV includes a projector screen, 2 wall-mounted 65" TVs, full PA system, and HD live streaming capabilities for hybrid events. One dedicated technician is included in the hourly rate to operate equipment and provide technical support throughout your event.

King's House operates as dry-hire with recommended external caterers available. Unlimited teas and coffees service costs £2 per person and kitchen access is included for catering setup.

Full payment is typically due by the standard deadline, though payment can be split with a deposit (example given was £453) followed by the remaining balance plus refundable security surcharge due 2 weeks before the event. A refundable security surcharge applies to all bookings.

King's House is a completely nut-free venue and all catering must comply with this requirement. The venue requires advance notice for any materials being delivered, with items typically arriving the day before events.

All presentation files, logos, and AV materials must be sent to kings.house.b3hv7r.c.e@reply.hirespace.com by midday the day before your event. Large files should be sent via WeTransfer, and a detailed event schedule must be completed in advance.

Charity discounts are available and should be requested when booking. Each booking directly supports community activities and local charities that operate from the ground floor of the building.
