The Events Space alone costs £450 + VAT per hour with a 3-hour minimum booking (£1,350 + VAT minimum). For the combined Events Space & Business Lounge, the rate is £1,000 + VAT per hour with a 3-hour minimum booking (£3,000 + VAT minimum). If booking just the Events Space, all breaks and food must be consumed inside the events space itself.

What are the capacity limits and seating arrangements available?

The Events Space can accommodate up to 100 guests in theatre or standing format, 56 guests in cabaret style (7 tables of 8), or 32 guests in classroom setup. The Business Lounge can accommodate up to 40 people for breaks and networking when booked together with the Events Space.

Are there additional mandatory costs I should know about?

Security is mandatory at £250 + VAT for events running after 18:00. You receive 1 hour of complimentary setup time before your event, but additional setup time beyond this will incur extra charges. All catering must be ordered through the venue - external catering is not permitted.

What catering options are available and at what cost?

Breakfast options range from £4 + VAT per person (tea, coffee, biscuits) to £16 + VAT per person (tea, coffee, breakfast sandwiches, juices). Lunch is £22 + VAT per person (sandwiches, crisps, popcorn, desserts, fruit, soft drinks). Canapés cost £13 + VAT per person for platters or £4.50 + VAT per person for nuts, olives, and crisps. Soft drinks are £5 + VAT per person.

Can I serve alcohol at my event?

No, alcoholic drinks cannot be accommodated at the Farringdon venue. However, HubHub has another venue in Shoreditch where alcohol is permitted if that location would work for your event instead.

How long can I hold a date before confirming my booking?

HubHub will hold dates temporarily for potential bookings, but if they don't hear back within 48 hours of their follow-up, they will release the hold. You should respond promptly to secure your preferred date.

What setup and technical equipment is included?

The venue provides screens, projectors, microphones, and basic AV equipment. You can connect laptops for presentations, and flipcharts are available upon request. An event manager will be on-site during your event to assist with any technical needs or other requirements.

What are the booking requirements and payment process?

All bookings have a 3-hour minimum. You need to register visitor names with reception in advance for venue access. The venue requires confirmation and payment details to secure bookings, and they will provide a full cost breakdown once you decide to proceed with your event.
