What is the capacity and hire fee for music events at the Arts space?

The Arts space has a capacity of 180 people and is suitable for promoted music events. The standard hire fee is £550 plus a £2,800 (inc. VAT) minimum bar spend, which includes exclusive use of the space, in-house PA system, and dedicated bar team.

What are the payment options for the minimum bar spend requirement?

You have two options: Option 1 - Pre-pay your £2,800 bar tab in full with no security deposit required, or Option 2 - Fulfill the minimum bar spend during your event with a £650 security deposit required upfront.

What audio equipment is included with the Arts space hire?

The space includes industry standard Pioneer gear with decks, mixer, monitors, and speakers. An in-house PA system is provided as part of the standard hire package for music events.

How far in advance do I need to book and what's the booking process?

Booking requires signing contracts and payment according to your chosen option. Contact the venue as soon as possible if you want to start promoting your event, as popular dates get booked quickly.

What type of music events work best in the Arts space?

Are drinks included in the hire fee or charged separately?

If you choose Option 2 and don't reach the £2,800 minimum bar spend during your event, you'll still be charged the full minimum amount. This is why Option 1 (pre-paying the tab) eliminates this risk and doesn't require a security deposit.
