What are the catering options and pricing for refreshments at the Business space?

Tea and coffee options range from £3.50 +VAT per person for basic service to £14.00 +VAT for unlimited service. Enhanced options include tea, coffee and biscuits at £5.50 +VAT, tea, coffee and cake of the day at £7.50 +VAT, and tea, coffee and pastries at £8.00 +VAT per person. All catering is provided in-house and external caterers are not permitted.

How long can I hold a provisional booking before confirming?

Provisional holds are typically maintained for 2-3 weeks maximum. The venue actively follows up after 2 weeks and will release spaces automatically if no response is received. Some holds may be released after just one week during busy periods, and 24-hour deadlines are imposed when final decisions are needed.

What are the site visit availability restrictions?

Site visits must be scheduled between 9:30am and 11:30am, with no viewings available after midday. The venue requires advance notice and confirmation of exact arrival times for all site visits.

When is payment required to secure my booking?

The contracted amount must be paid in full before the venue will hand over coordination to your event coordinator. For events requiring quick turnaround, signed contracts and payment may be needed within 2-4 weeks of the event date.

What are the minimum guest requirements for different spaces?

The Corinthian Roof Terrace has a minimum requirement of 100 guests. Other spaces may have different minimums, and events below minimum numbers may still be accommodated but at higher per-person rates or with additional fees.

Can I bring external suppliers for entertainment or activities?

The venue works with approved external suppliers for specialized services. Team building activities are provided by emma@gotoevents.co.uk, gin masterclasses by laura@aokevents.com, and cricket experiences by info@ballsportz.co.uk. All external suppliers must be pre-approved and insured.

What AV equipment is included and what are additional costs?

Basic rooms include built-in screens, projectors, and PA systems with 2 handheld microphones. Enhanced AV packages range from £3,495 +VAT to £12,420 +VAT depending on the room and requirements. The venue uses in-house supplier Encore Global for comprehensive AV needs.

Are there restrictions during cricket match days?

Event spaces are not available during T20 fixtures and other cricket matches. These dates require hospitality bookings instead, starting at £149 per person +VAT including food, drinks, and match tickets. Regular event bookings must be scheduled around the cricket calendar.

What is included in the Day Delegate Rate packages?

Day Delegate Rates range from £73-£104.40 +VAT per person and include room hire from 7am-5pm, arrival breakfast rolls and overnight oats with tea/coffee, mid-morning biscuits with tea/coffee, hot finger food buffet lunch, mid-afternoon cake with tea/coffee, fruit and filtered water throughout the day, basic AV equipment, flipcharts, and complimentary organizer parking (subject to availability).

What are the setup and breakdown time allowances?

Events requiring AV setup typically need 3 hours for equipment installation and testing. Some clients require setup access from 10:00am for 13:30 events, allowing 3.5 hours preparation time. Breakdown periods vary but generally require 1-1.5 hours after event conclusion.
