What are the site visit restrictions and when can I view the Business space?

Site visits must be scheduled between 9:30am and 11:30am, as the venue is unable to show rooms after midday. Contact the events team at 0207 820 5651 to arrange your viewing appointment.

How long will the venue hold my booking without payment?

The venue typically holds bookings for 2-3 weeks before requiring confirmation. You'll receive a 24-hour deadline notice before the space is automatically released if no response is received.

What are the exact catering costs per person for refreshments?

Tea and coffee costs £3.50 +VAT per person, unlimited tea and coffee is £14.00 +VAT per person, tea/coffee with biscuits is £5.50 +VAT per person, and tea/coffee with cake of the day is £7.50 +VAT per person. Additional options include pastries (£8.00 +VAT) and mini muffins (£7.25 +VAT).

When do I need to pay and sign contracts for my event?

Payment of the contracted amount must be made before the venue will hand over coordination to your team. For events requiring quick turnaround, signed contracts and payment may be required within 2-4 weeks of the event date.

What are the Day Delegate Rate packages and what do they include?

The Oval Day Delegate Rate ranges from £73.00 to £97.20 +VAT per person depending on the room and package. It includes room hire from 7am-5pm, arrival breakfast rolls and overnight oats with tea/coffee, mid-morning biscuits, hot finger food buffet lunch, afternoon cake with tea/coffee, fruit and filtered water throughout the day, screen and projector, flipcharts, and complimentary organiser parking (subject to availability).

Can I bring my own AV company or external suppliers?

The venue uses in-house AV supplier Encore Global for their conference packages, with costs ranging from £3,495 to £12,420 +VAT depending on the room and requirements. External suppliers may be permitted but you'll need to confirm arrangements and any additional costs with the events team.

What are the minimum guest requirements for different spaces?

The Corinthian Roof Terrace has a minimum requirement of 100 guests. Other spaces may have different minimums, so confirm specific requirements when booking your chosen room.

Are there restrictions during cricket match days?

The venue cannot offer regular event space during T20 fixtures and other cricket matches. These dates require hospitality bookings instead, starting at £149 +VAT per person including food, drinks, and match tickets.

What external activity suppliers does the venue work with?

For additional activities, the venue partners with specific suppliers: team building (emma@gotoevents.co.uk), gin masterclass (laura@aokevents.com), and cricket experiences (info@ballsportz.co.uk). You'll need to contact these suppliers directly for pricing and arrangements.

What are the setup and access times for events?

Events typically require 3-hour AV setup time, with some clients needing full-day access from 10:00am-5:30pm including 3 hours for AV setup, 2.75 hours for the event, and 1.5 hours for pack down. Access times can be arranged from 7:00am-5:00pm for most bookings.
