What are the catering options and pricing for refreshments at events?

Tea and coffee starts at £3.50 +VAT per person, with unlimited tea and coffee at £14.00 +VAT per person. Enhanced options include tea, coffee and biscuits at £5.50 +VAT, tea, coffee and cake of the day at £7.50 +VAT, and tea, coffee and pastries at £8.00 +VAT per person. All catering prices are subject to VAT.

What are the booking hold periods and payment requirements?

The venue typically holds spaces for 2-3 weeks before requiring confirmation or releasing the booking. Payment of the contracted amount must be made before the venue will handover coordination to your event coordinator. For events requiring quick turnaround, signed contracts and payment may be needed within days of the event date.

What are the restrictions for site visits and venue access?

Site visits must be scheduled between 9:30am and 11:30am, as the venue is unable to show rooms after midday. This timing restriction applies to all venue viewings and must be arranged in advance with the events team.

Can external suppliers be used for entertainment and activities?

Yes, the venue works with approved external suppliers for various activities. Team building is provided by emma@gotoevents.co.uk, gin masterclasses by laura@aokevents.com, and cricket experiences by info@ballsportz.co.uk. You can contact these suppliers directly for pricing and availability.

What are the minimum guest requirements for different spaces?

The Corinthian Roof Terrace has a minimum requirement of 100 guests. Other spaces may have different minimum requirements, so it's important to confirm guest count minimums when enquiring about specific rooms or areas within the venue.

Are there restrictions during cricket match days?

Event spaces are not available during T20 fixtures and other cricket matches. If you want to combine your event with watching cricket, this must be booked as a hospitality package starting at £149 per person +VAT, which includes food, drinks and a ticket to watch the game.

What audio-visual equipment is included with room hire?

Most rooms include built-in PA systems, screens and projectors. The venue has a built-in PA system suitable for DJs, and handheld microphones are typically provided. For enhanced AV requirements, the venue works with in-house supplier Encore Global for additional equipment and technical support.

What are the setup and breakdown time allowances?

Events typically require 3 hours for AV company setup before guest arrival. The venue accommodates full-day bookings from 10:00-17:30 including setup and breakdown time. Specific timing requirements should be discussed when booking to ensure adequate access time for your event needs.

Is there flexibility for bringing external caterers?
