What are the dry hire rates for private events and what's included?

Dry hire packages start from £10,000.00 inclusive of VAT. For boxing events, a reduced rate of £14,000.00 inclusive of VAT was offered. The dry hire includes venue access but excludes catering, security, and additional services which must be arranged separately.

What are the mandatory security requirements and costs for private events?

Security is compulsory for all events at £29.40 per hour inclusive of VAT. For 1-200 guests, 2 guards are required; 201-400 guests need 4 guards; 401-600 guests require 6 guards. Minimum booking is 4 hours and must be paid no later than 1 month prior to the event.

What are the restrictions for ticketed events?

For ticketed events, all tickets must be pre-purchased - the venue does not allow tickets to be sold on the night. This policy applies to all ticketed events regardless of size or type.

What capacity does the venue accommodate for different event setups?

The venue can accommodate approximately 350 people for ticketed events. For boxing shows, capacity is reduced due to ring setup requirements. Specific room capacities vary by space, with some suites accommodating up to 250 guests for banquets or 200 for dinner dances.

Christmas packages are £112.00 per person inclusive of VAT (reduced from £190.00). This includes 3-course meal, exclusive room hire from 18:00-01:00, glass of sparkling wine on arrival, three course seated dinner, tea/coffee and mince pies, half bottle of wine per person, Christmas novelties and traditional room decoration, plus DJ and dance floor until 1am.

What are the banquet package options for dinner events?

Banquet packages are £126.00 per person including VAT and include glass of sparkling wine, three course dinner, half bottle of house wine, coffee and petit fours, mineral water, and room hire from 18:00-01:00. Package includes red carpet on arrival, black or white linens, dance floor, and dedicated event manager.

How long are provisional bookings held and what's the booking process?

The venue offers joint 1st option holds for events, but these require regular updates or they will be released. Booking holds are released if no communication is received, and decisions must be made by specified deadlines (typically requiring confirmation within a few weeks of initial enquiry).

What lighting and AV capabilities are available for events?

The venue has an in-house lighting system available for events. Basic AV equipment like LCD projectors and screens are available, with 3000 lumen LCD Projector & Screen (8"x6") included in some packages. Upgrades to bigger screens are available at additional charges.
