Frequently asked questions

The venue is completely unavailable from late June through July, August, and September due to large rehearsals that occupy the entire venue. Additionally, from 24th November to 17th December, the venue exclusively hosts KIN London's Christmas Social and cannot accommodate other bookings during this period.

Club nights are not permitted due to the building's listed status and the nature of their cultural programme. Sporting events are also not allowed, despite the venue's historical use as a boxing venue. The venue operates a fully curated cultural programme, meaning all shows must be developed in consultation with their Cultural Programme team.

The Assembly Hall can accommodate up to 500 people with Matrix seats in theatre style, plus an additional 250 seats available in the balcony. The Council Chamber and Mayor's Parlour can accommodate 80 guests combined, with the Council Chamber suitable for theatre-style seating and the Mayor's Parlour able to seat 40 people.

Bespoke production quotes are provided based on specific requirements, and detailed information is available in their Production Guide.

It is the hirer's responsibility to set up and clear down the space unless specifically discussed with the venue in advance. If the venue assists with setup, this time will be factored into the hire period and may affect pricing.

No agreement exists until a contract and full terms & conditions are signed by both parties and all hire fees and charges are paid in full. Any enquiry, discussion, or correspondence should never be taken as confirmation of booking. The venue reserves the right to vary or cancel hires without liability even after contracts are signed.
