What is the pricing structure for hiring The Fitzgerald Manchester's Whole Venue?

There are no venue hire fees for the Whole Venue; instead, a minimum spend applies. This varies depending on the date and the length of the booking. All food and drink purchased will contribute towards the minimum spend

What are the venue's capacity limits for events?

The Whole Venue has a maximum standing capacity of 120 people and a seated capacity of 70.

What are the available hire times and are there restrictions on hire duration?

Any day or time as long as that date is available

What is the step-by-step booking process?

Availability is first confirmed directly with the venue. To secure your date, you must pay a £250 deposit (refundable after the event if the minimum spend is achieved). The booking is only confirmed once the deposit is received.

Are there any mandatory costs or fees beyond the minimum spend and deposit?

No additional mandatory fees are stated. All payments beyond the deposit are applied towards your pre-ordered or event-day food and drink to meet the minimum spend.

Can we bring our own food and drink?

Outside catering for food is allowed as long as you reach the minimum drink spend on-site. However, bringing your own alcohol is not permitted under any circumstances. Cakes and nibbles can be brought in but all alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the venue.

Which event types are suitable for this space, and are there event-specific limitations?

The Whole Venue is suitable for private parties, birthdays, masterclasses, Christmas parties, company events, and private dining. There are no event-specific minimum spends above those outlined; all standard rules regarding capacity, catering, and alcohol apply regardless of event type.

Are there restrictions on decorations or use of candles?

Decorations, including table décor and balloons, are allowed as long as nothing is permanent and everything is removed afterwards. Real candles can be used provided they are placed in a secure candle holder.

What catering and drinks options are available from the venue?

The venue offers buffet-style food with the ability to cater for common dietary requirements (except life-threatening allergies). See the brochure for all current food and drink packages

What is the process for early setup and vendor access on the day of the event?

Early setup is typically available from 11am by prior arrangement. Vendors and decorators can access the venue at this time to prepare the space. All arrangements must be coordinated in advance with the venue.
