The Burroughs room is a spacious and quiet space. Named after Henry Wellcome's business partner -philanthropist Silas Burroughs - it's popular for training sessions and receptions. This contemporary space is situated on its own floor and is ideal for clients who want total privacy or seclusion. This room is designed to be used as a blank canvas for a variety of events, and is ideal for breakfast events, intimate dinners, drinks reception, training sessions or meetings.
Dale room
Capacity: Up to 60 Standing guests

The Dale room is a calm and relaxing space. With plenty of natural daylight and an unfussy décor, it is situated in a particularly quiet location making it ideal for training courses or smaller meetings. This space offers flexibility due to its blank canvas and space for different seating styles and offers upgraded AV equipment suitable for meetings and workshops. This space comes with a secluded area outside the room ideal for taking a break and serving refreshments.
Franks & Steel Room

The Franks & Steel room combined offer a spacious room, ideal for a plenary session meeting or dinner. It offers natural lighting, upgrade to latest AV equipment including an inbuilt PA system making the Franks and Steel room a fantastic meeting space. The room offers live video conferencing options and comes with a smart board with latest technology to save all your information remotely. This is one of our initiatives to improve sustainability. The Franks and Steel offers flexible seating style - ideal for evening dinners, with interesting art works providing talking points for your event.
Reading Room

The Reading Room is an innovative hybrid of gallery, library and events space, designed to encourage visitors to indulge their curiosity and explore. This is a public space showcasing a wide variety of objects from the Wellcome Collection. It includes a life mask of Beethoven, a1920s X-Ray machine made of wood, steel and rubber and a dress illustrating neural development. It has all the spectacles to make your event bespoke and memorable. The Reading Room accommodates up to 160 guests and we can provide drinks and canapes for guests to enjoy while exploring the space.
Atrium

The Atrium on level 0 is Wellcome Collection's largest, most flexible event space. As your guests arrive, they are welcomed by the sight of the dramatic spiral staircase, designed by Stirling Prize-winning architects WilkinsonEyre, and Feel, an iconic sculpture by Antony Gormley. With a capacity of up to 396, the Atrium is suitable for events such as awards ceremonies, corporate celebrations and product launches. Wellcome Shop is also located within the Atrium and can work with you to host a book launch or literary awards ceremony. This space offers a fantastic blank canvas.
Being Human Exhibition

The new permanent exhibition at Wellcome Collection hosting artwork related to Genetics, Minds & Bodies, Infection & Environmental Breakdown. This space can host up to 200 guests cocktail reception offering a fabulous interactive experience for your attendees. The room is spacious with cool and interactive artwork which adds a wow factor to any event. The room also offers a reception area for catering and also offers the Being Human backdrop as a photo wall making any event bespoke and memorable.
Henry Wellcome Auditorium

The Henry Wellcome Auditorium is located within Wellcome Collection a cultural venue for the incurably curious, the auditorium is a spacious, tiered auditorium for up to 154 delegates, with a stage area which can accommodate up to nine speakers with a top table or six speakers with a top table and lectern. The auditorium comes with an AV technician and PA system - including four top top table, three lapel, two hand held and one lectern microphone. The auditorium is fantastic for all types of events from product launches through to AGM's.
Franks Room
