Our Grade II listed building surrounds a beautiful, sunny courtyard, which can be included with the hire of the Fireworks Factory and Worker's Bar, opening directly onto the courtyard to create one giant space with a great indoor/outdoor feel to larger events.



Frequently asked questions

The hire fee for the Other space is £9,350 + VAT for an 8am-5pm hire period. This includes an event manager, duty manager, technician for in-house equipment, basic fire marshalling staffing, workers bar and back of house spaces, and power. The space features seated banks and is fully accessible throughout the building.

Vehicle access is only permitted on site between 8am-11pm daily. If you need additional time for setup or de-rig outside these hours, you must arrange this in advance. The space includes a loading dock for equipment delivery.

You can use your own caterer, but there's a £500 + VAT admin fee to set them up on the venue's system. Additionally, the venue charges 10% commission on the caterer's final invoice. Alternatively, you can choose from five approved caterers or use the venue's simple internal catering menu.

A PA system and 2 microphones are included with the hire. Additional technical resources beyond this basic setup will incur extra fees. If your requirements exceed what's available in-house, the venue recommends their external AV team White Light, though using your own AV supplier incurs a £500 + VAT admin fee plus 10% commission.

In-house furniture is included with the hire, subject to availability. The venue has seated banks in the space and various other furniture options. You can view available furniture on their website, and additional furniture hire may be required for items not available on-site.

Basic fire marshalling staffing is included in the hire fee. Additional security/hosts are available at £35 per hour for 2 staff members, with a minimum 5-hour call per staff member (10 hours total minimum). An additional technician can be hired for £310 + VAT per day if needed beyond the included support.

The venue features a beautiful, sunny courtyard that can be included with certain hires. The courtyard opens directly from some spaces to create an indoor/outdoor feel for larger events, though specific availability with the Other space would need to be confirmed.
