The Lecture Hall accommodates up to 120 guests in theatre layout or up to 80-100 in cabaret style with tables of 10. What is the Day Delegate Rate pricing and what does it include?

The Day Delegate Rate is £89.00 plus VAT per person with a minimum of 80 guests for the Lecture Hall, or £49.00 plus VAT per person with a minimum of 20 guests for the Council Chamber. This includes room hire, arrival refreshments (JING tea, Searcys coffee and pastries), mid-morning break, finger food buffet lunch, afternoon refreshments, flavoured water station, in-built screen and projector, and cloakroom service.

What are the room hire rates for spaces without catering packages?

The Council Chamber has a room hire rate of £1,000 plus VAT for a full day (09:00-17:00). The Dubai Meeting Room is £667.00 plus VAT per day for Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm hire. Room hire rates for the Lecture Hall are not specified in standalone pricing.

What AV equipment is included and what are the technical capabilities?

All business spaces include in-built screens and projectors with speakers. The Lecture Hall features an in-built stage with lectern and lectern microphone, plus 2 hand-held or lapel microphones with AV assistance on arrival and on-call support. The Council Chamber and Dubai Meeting Room have standard screen and projector setups.

How long are provisional bookings held and what is the booking process?

Provisional bookings are typically held for different periods depending on the event date - examples show holds until 17 February 2025 for an October event, and 26 February 2025 for a March event. The venue requires confirmation within the hold period or the space will be released to other clients.

What catering upgrades are available and at what cost?

You can upgrade from the standard finger food buffet lunch to a hot fork buffet for an additional £10-£20 plus VAT per person (pricing varies by package). All catering includes JING tea and Searcys coffee throughout the day with pastries, biscuits, and flavoured water stations.

Are the business spaces available on weekends?

Surveyors House is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. All business meeting spaces are only available Monday through Friday, with the Dubai Meeting Room specifically operating 8am to 5pm on weekdays only.

What is the maximum capacity the venue can accommodate for large conferences?
