Minimum spend requirements vary depending on the space, date, and group size. For exclusive terrace hires, minimum spends start from £3,375 and increase depending on day and time. Packages are available which include food, drinks and activities and are the best value.

Are there any mandatory deposits or booking fees, and when are they due?

A non-refundable deposit is mandatory to secure a booking, typically 50% of the minimum spend or package bookings. The remaining balance is due at least 7 days' prior to your event. payments are not accepted after the event.

What is included in the minimum spend, and are there any additional/hidden costs?

The minimum spend can be allocated towards all in-house food, drink, and games/entertainment. A 12.5% service charge is mandatory on all bookings. Karaoke or games such as darts and pool may have additional charges on some packages (e.g., £100–£200 for unlimited use), but are often included in larger group packages. There are no listed corkage or cleaning fees for standard events.

What are the available event timings, and are there specific hire periods or curfews?

Event timings are generally flexible but typically run from mid-afternoon to midnight for private hires. Exclusive terrace bookings often operate from 18:00–23:00 or later by arrangement; Sunday bookings may start earlier (e.g., 4pm–7pm). Set-up time is not included in the above time when a minimum spend is quoted and may require an additional spend.

What are the capacity limits for The Terrace?

The terrace private space accommodates up to 120 guests, however it can be teamed up with The Podium to offer a total space of 240 guests. The Terrace can also be hired as part of the full venue, but if it's hired as a standalone space it's worth noting that the main doors to other rooms will need to be accesible at all times.

Is outside catering, drink or entertainment permitted?

Outside catering is strictly prohibited as KERB Sports Bar operates as a food hall. All food and drinks must be ordered through in-house packages. External DJs may be allowed but are subject to management approval and must comply with noise and content guidelines due to proximity to the general public. Other external vendors (decor, entertainment) must be discussed and agreed in advance.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

All deposits paid to secure a booking are non-refundable under any circumstances. Cancellation terms are fully outlined at point of booking.

Are there seasonal restrictions, day-of-week limitations, or premium pricing periods?

Minimum spend levels and availability can vary by season and date. Peak periods (e.g., July for summer parties, December for Christmas) require higher minimum spends for large groups/events on prime dates. Key dates tend to book up months in advance, especially Thursdays and Fridays, so early enquiry is recommended.

Can guests smoke on the terrace?

No, The Terrace is a smoke free-zone, however any guests wishing to smoke or vape can cross over to the entrance to Spitalfields Market (viewable from The Terrace itself).

Can guests have a DJ on The Terrace?

Yes, guests may bring a DJ if pre-agreed, although there are certain noise restrictions depending on time of day- please ask the bookings team for more information.
