The Hall can accommodate up to 276 guests for dining and is available Monday to Friday from 6:00pm onwards, plus weekends during both day and evening. The dinner package is £142 ex VAT per person (based on 90 guests) and includes hire from 6pm-11pm with a 10% discount, 1 glass of house Prosecco on arrival, half bottle of house wine, half bottle of still/sparkling water per person, 3-course menu with coffee and chocolates, and PA system with 1 microphone.
What are the availability restrictions for dining events?
The Hall is available for hire Monday to Friday from 6:00pm onwards only. Weekend availability includes both day and evening slots. The venue closes during August summer holidays and from 4th September until 8th September for holidays, reopening from 8th September for events.
What catering options and pricing are available for smaller dining events?
For smaller groups, catering includes arrival tea, coffee and pastries from £8.50 ex VAT per person, classic sandwich lunch from £19.30 ex VAT per person, 1 glass of house wine with lunch from £5 ex VAT per person, and mid-afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits from £7.15 ex VAT per person. Christmas lunch events start from £85 + VAT per person.
What is included in the room hire and what are the additional costs?
Room hire varies by space - for example, Rooms 3&4 combined costs £1,960 ex VAT for 8am-4pm, while the Parliament Chamber costs £2,094 + VAT. All prices are exclusive of VAT (20% additional). Screen and video conferencing facilities are included in some spaces, and PA systems with microphones are typically included.
How does the booking process work and what are the hold periods?
The venue does not automatically place provisional holds on dates. If you want to place a date on provisional hold, you must request this and they will contact any client holding first option for an update. For events not far away, confirmation is typically required within 2 weeks of the proposal date.
What outdoor dining and party options are available?
The venue offers a Marquee available mid-June to mid-July (2026 season runs 16 June - 9 July) with capacity for up to 600 guests. The Marquee package for 400 guests costs £152.40 ex VAT per person and includes hire of marquee and garden, garden menu, prosecco reception, 4-hour unlimited drinks package, and AV equipment. The venue also has three acres of beautifully maintained grounds.
What are the current pricing offers and when do they expire?
There is a room hire price freeze offer for 2026 events, allowing you to book 2026 events at current 2025 rates. This offer ends 31 August 2025 and terms and conditions apply. This represents significant savings for advance bookings.
What wedding packages and dry hire options are available?
The venue offers dry hire of the entire venue for £15,000 ex VAT, which includes use of all internal event spaces with your own caterers. They also offer structured wedding packages detailed in their wedding brochure, and the Hall along with the rest of the first floor is particularly suitable for weddings requiring additional space.

Most spaces include built-in AV equipment such as screens, video conferencing facilities, and PA systems with microphones.
