What is the minimum spend requirement for booking the Screenings space?

The venue typically requires a minimum food and beverage spend of £5,000 excluding VAT and 12.5% service charge. For larger events using both the Auditorium and Gallery together, the minimum spend increases to £8,000 including VAT.

What are the capacity limits for the Screenings space?

The Auditorium (screening room) accommodates up to 60 guests seated, while the adjacent Gallery can hold up to 350 guests standing. The spaces can be hired individually or together for larger events.

What AV equipment is included with the Screenings space?

The space includes a fully integrated AV setup with customizable LED ceiling that changes color to set the mood. Basic AV equipment is included, though specific technical requirements should be confirmed with the venue team.

Are there restrictions on music and event timing for the Screenings space?

Yes, the venue has restrictions on music and event timings. Late-night events (such as 9pm-2am requests) and DJ-style events with loud music are typically not accommodated due to hotel policies.

What deposit is required to secure a booking?

A deposit of 50% of the minimum spend is required to confirm your event. The remaining balance is charged 30 days prior to your event date.

Can we customize the LED displays in the Gallery?

Yes, the Gallery features impressive floor-to-ceiling LED displays that can be fully customized for your event. This service costs £105 including VAT per hour with a minimum of 4 hours required.

What food and beverage options are available for screenings and events?

The venue does not provide buffet-style service for evening events, but offers canapés and mini bowls with tray service. All food and beverage pre-orders must be placed 14 days prior to your booking date.

How far in advance do I need to place my booking on hold?

The venue does not automatically place bookings on hold when providing quotes. You must specifically request a hold on your dates, and some urgent bookings may require confirmation by end of day to secure availability.

What are the setup and breakdown times included with the booking?

Setup and breakdown times vary by event type but typically include 60-90 minutes before and after your event. For example, evening events may have access from 6pm with the event running until midnight, including setup time.

Is there a room hire fee in addition to the minimum spend?

If you meet the minimum food and beverage spend, venue hire is typically complimentary. However, if you don't reach the minimum spend, any unused surplus is allocated to venue hire charges.
