What mandatory staffing costs must I budget for?

Security is mandatory with costs including: Security Manager at £371.70 + VAT (8-hour minimum), Security Officers at £274.50 + VAT each (minimum 9 officers for events under 1,000 guests, 1 per 100 guests over 1,000), Event First Aider at £302.10 + VAT (9.5-hour minimum), and Parks Police coverage including Sergeant at £69.95/hour, Constable at £56.20/hour, and 2 Support staff at £41.35/hour each. All security arrives 30 minutes before doors open and stays 30 minutes after event ends.

What are the capacity limits for different event layouts?

The venue accommodates up to 3,000 standing outdoors, 2,000 for seated dinners, 4,000 for receptions and parties, 3,500 in theatre layout, and 5,000 for exhibitions. However, one inquiry for 5,000 guests was declined as exceeding capacity limits, suggesting practical maximums may be lower than advertised figures.

Are concerts and live music events permitted?

No, Evolution London does not host concerts, gigs, or live music events unless they are in conjunction with a corporate event. This restriction is due to premise licensing limitations, and multiple music event inquiries have been declined.

What are the Christmas party package options and pricing?

Christmas packages include canapé reception, three-course dinner, themed décor, entertainment shows, dodgems, live six-piece band, DJ, late-night snacks, and free cloakroom/parking. Pricing varies by date: Friday 28th November at £118 + VAT per person, Thursday 11th December at £120 + VAT, Thursday 18th December at £120 + VAT, Friday 19th December at £118 + VAT, and Saturday 20th December at £116 + VAT.

What drink package upgrades are available for events?

Unlimited drinks wristbands are available for £48 + VAT per person, including unlimited bottled beer, cider, house wine, and soft drinks for the duration of the evening. Saturday events automatically include unlimited drinks at £133 + VAT per person total. What are the dress code requirements for events?

How far in advance must I pay for my event?

What technical and AV capabilities are included?

The venue includes basic in-house AV specification at £7,500 + VAT per event day, featuring LED lighting throughout, distributed audio system, black drape walls, and starcloth roof. Encore is the exclusive technical partner for all rigging, power, and sound systems. Additional AV requirements beyond the basic package incur extra costs and must be arranged through Encore.
