Venue hire rates start from £4,825 VAT exempt for weekday hire or £7,175 VAT exempt for weekend hire, covering 2pm until midnight with supplier access from 12pm. For smaller events, individual rooms range from £1,100-£3,100 VAT exempt depending on the space and duration. The base price includes room hire only - all catering, AV equipment, and additional services are charged separately.

Maximum seated capacity for ceremony and dinner is 100 guests in the Beatrice Webb Room. The Reading Room holds up to 70 guests for standing receptions, while the Music Room alone is too small for dinner and drinks for 50+ guests and requires booking an additional room. For conferences, the Beatrice Webb room accommodates up to 50 guests in cabaret style or 94 in theatre style.

Evening events have a minimum catering spend of £1,000 + VAT. Christmas packages require a minimum of 55 guests at £145 + VAT per person. Three-course dinners cost £66.50 + VAT per person, with wine packages at £17-£27 + VAT per person. Catering before 8am incurs an additional £300 + VAT per hour service charge.

The venue maintains detailed lists of Approved Suppliers for Audio Visual, Production, and Floristry, plus Recommended suppliers. Use of any third-party suppliers outside these lists must be agreed in writing by the venue before booking. This applies to all external vendors including photographers, entertainers, and decorators.

Upon signing the hire agreement, a 50% deposit invoice is generated and must be paid before booking confirmation. You must wait to receive the official invoice before making payment as you'll need to quote the invoice number. Any required PO numbers must be provided before the deposit invoice is generated to avoid confirmation delays.

The Festive Dinner & DJ package costs £145 + VAT per person (minimum 55 guests) and includes sparkling wine, 3-course dinner, wine, DJ, and venue decorations. December bookings operate on a first-to-confirm basis due to high demand. A dancefloor is mandatory for carpeted rooms at an additional £795 + VAT.

For 40-70 guests, hire of 10 Carlton House Terrace includes Council Room, Barnard Room, and Radhakrishnan Room. For larger groups up to 100, hire of 11 Carlton House Terrace includes Gallery, Music Room, and Beatrice Webb Room. The venue comprises two former private houses with different room configurations based on guest count.

Standard access for organisers begins 15 minutes before the hire period (e.g., 5:15pm for 6pm events). Supplier setup access is typically from 12pm for afternoon/evening events, or 8:15am for morning events. Earlier access may be available but requires advance arrangement and potential additional charges.

Basic AV packages include screens, PA systems, and up to two microphones. Upgrades available include additional microphones (up to 4), sit-in technicians, and staging for £350 + VAT. The venue has dedicated Approved Suppliers for more complex AV and production requirements that must be used for technical setups.

A winter offer provides £1,000 discount on venue hire for weddings taking place in October or November 2025. Last-minute bookings may receive up to 20% discount on venue hire. Multi-day bookings may also qualify for reduced rates, though specific terms vary by circumstances.
